Short bio of Christopher Gould.

Worked in 1701 ‘near the north east corner of the Royal Exchange . Work known – several watches, longcase clocks, bracket and lantern clocks (incl. Turkish market examples) and hooded clocks. Usually signed ‘ Christopher Gould Londini fecit’ or ‘Christopher Gould, London’. Seems strange that such a prolific and competent worker should have been such a poor man.
